The movie was directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite,Nacho Libre) from a screenplay by Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener, Gavin James, and Chris Galletta.
Thebudget ofA Minecraft Movieis enormous, reportedly hitting a total of $150 million without factoring in marketing costs. This means that the moviemost likely needs to earn $375 million in theaters to break even.
