The GUN soldier doesn’t notice it’s Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles under the masks at all, and simply wants a selfie that he can show to his children.
This scene is funny becauseit’s so obvious Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are under the masks. It’s practically pointless to wear the masks at all, since the rest of their bodies are so noticeable. However, the GUN soldier doesn’t notice it’s Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles under the masks at all, and simply wants a selfie that he can show to his children.
6Agent Stone Saves Ivo Robotnik After Sonic 2’s Climax
Once Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles catch up with Agent Stone inSonic the Hedgehog 3, it is revealed that Carrey’s Ivo Robotnik survived the events ofSonic 2.Sonic the Hedgehog 3does not spend much time explaining how Ivo survived the climax of the previous movie, but this deleted scene shows Agent Stone saving him from the rubble. However,Agent Stone claims that Ivo had multiple surgeries in Mexico after breaking nearly every bone in his body.

Even though this is quite an obvious hiding spot, the GUN soldiers walk right by them. Just like the deleted scene of the GUN soldier taking a selfie with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles,this scene once again proves that GUN soldiers can be quite oblivious at times. Once the soldiers pass by them, Ivo and Gerald come out of their hiding spots and bicker before continuing down the hallway.
