A new report has revealed thatAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniaended up being a profitable movie. TheMarvel Cinematic Universehas had some issues during the Multiverse Saga. With so many projects coming out in rapid succession over the MCU’s Phase 4 and partly Phase 5, the overall quality of the franchise took a hit. Once expected to top theMCU’s Ant-Man movies, 2023’sAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniaunderperformed at the box office. Despite that, the MCU film still did not lose money.
According toForbes,Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniahad a profit of $88,236.The comprehensive report details the movie’s costs and revenue, with the third Ant-Man entry ending up being profitable in large part due to a UK tax credit.Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniahas a worldwide box office total of $476 million. While the project did not become one of theMCU’s best movieslike Marvel Studios intended it to be, with Kang the Conqueror’s Multiverse Saga role also falling through the cracks, the Ant-Man film at least turned a small profit.

What Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania’s Profit Means?
The MCU Movie’s Status Remains The Same
WhileAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniahas been revealed to be a profitable film, the profit itself is so low that it does not change much in the grand scheme of things. Sure, it was expected that the studio would have lost millions on the film after the latest Ant-Man movie underperformed at the box office. However,Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s reported profit is not nearly enough to warrantanother entry in the Paul Rudd-led franchise. Kang the Conqueror has also been replaced by Doctor Doom.
What Every MCU Actor Has Said About RDJ Returning As Doctor Doom
Robert Downey Jr. is back in the MCU, playing Doctor Doom, and many MCU stars, like Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo, have reacted to the shocking news.
Where fans are concerned, things should stay the same. A trilogy is a good way to end the MCU’s Ant-Man franchise, and its characters can all appear elsewhere.Ant-Man is likely to be in one or both of the next Avengers movies. Cassie Lang has already been named by Ms. Marvel as the next member of her team, which is shaping up to be the MCU’s Young Avengers. The Wasp’s situation is a bit more complicated, as star Evangeline Lilly revealed in June that she was stepping away from acting.

Our Take On Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania’s Profit
A Welcome Surprise To Be Sure
While I don’t believe that it’s one of the MCU’s best movies, I don’t think thatAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniais nearly as bad as many say. Due to that, I’m glad to know that the film ended up turning a profit and not losing millions as I had expected it to based on its poor box office. Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man movies have been a nice side franchise to have within the MCU, and knowing that what should be the last entry in it was profitable beats the alternative, so theAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniaupdate is positive.
