These are always prepared collections of four powerful, distinct magical abilities that can completely change how you play the game.

There aresix Unique Grimoires scattered around the world, with some only being accessible once you progress enough through the main story. The magic in these Grimoires can be used when you equip any of these books as an Off-Hand item in your character’s gear. Every Grimoire contains spells from the Wizard class, allowing non-magic users to start wielding arcana or add to an existing spellcaster’s arsenal.
Many of the spells from Unique Grimoires can’t be used immediately, as your character needs various levels of the Grimoire Mastery (GM) skill to use specific magic.
Most of the Unique Grimoires in the game are found through exploration, soyou won’t get any included as quest rewards. Themap size ofAvowedmakes it difficult to search for some of these Grimoires, as they could be lying out in the open or hidden within chests. Some vendors do sell a Unique Grimoire, but you may not have the funds to purchase one right away.

Go toIvona’s Threshold, then travel toBerath’s Gateway. Above this location, the Grimwoire will be next to a skeleton on the upper cliffs overlooking the Gateway next to several supplies and a banner.
Beothel’s Grimoire
Talk to thevendor Merylin in Southern Paradis' main market area. This market district is near the Eastern Paradis Gate Beacon. Merylinsells the Unique Grimoire for 40,500 Skeyt.
Od Caura’s Grimoire
Emerald Stairs
Gowest from the Wildwoods areauntil you reach a ruins calledParagrun Cache. Travel deep into the Cache to find the Unique Grimoire in a chest beyond multiple locked gates.
Vesrik’s Grimoire
Once you travel toMaxim’s Claim, go southwest until you reach the shores near theLogging Camparea. From here, use the Eyes of Rymrgand to create icy platforms to travel intoWavsculpt Hollow, where the Grimoire can be found on a dead body inside the cavern.

During the main story quest"Face Your Fears,“this Grimoire can be found insideRyngrim’s Domain. In this place, turn right from the statue of Ryngrim and activate a secret switch on a bookshelf to open up a hidden chamber. A cadaver in this secret room has the Grimoire next to it.

Head inside theLiving Archivesof this location, which can be found northeast of theAsh Forest. When dropping to the first rooftop in this area, you can find the Grimoire inside a chest outside.
