Below Deck Sailing Yacht’sDaisy Kelliher has been difficult to deal with all season long, and at this point, she should be canceled for her many red flags. WhileBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5has had some bright spots, the majority of the season has been tough for viewers to get through. With the drama surrounding Gary King, the First Officer of Parsifal III, left offscreen for the majority of the season thus far, there has been more focus on Daisy and the issues she’s had with her stews. Daisy, the Chief Stew, has struggled with her management style.

Daisy’s been part of theBelow Deckfranchisefor years, but her time on the series has been different than some of the other Chief Stews in the franchise. Working as a Chief Stew on Parsifal III sinceBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 2, Daisy has been around some of the same crew members since her start. With Captain Glenn Shephard the only Captain she’s worked with in aBelow Deckcharter,Daisy’s also been surrounded by some of the same faces throughout her time on the series. Until this season, both Gary and Colin Macrae were all working together.

Daisy and Colin’s friendship turned boatmancewas a major storyline ofBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 4, even though by the time the season’s reunion aired, the pair had broken up. While Colin, Daisy, and Gary were in a strange love triangle throughout the season, there were issues that none of them seemed to see coming when they were faced with their actions at the reunion. When Daisy and Gary had some difficulties in their communication, things got tense between the estranged friends leading intoBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5 whichcaused Daisy to be more difficult than ever.

Daisy Called Out A Crew Member

Things Have Been Tough Between Daisy & Her Stews

Although Daisy has been lauded as one of thebest Chief Stews in theBelow Deckfranchise, things haven’t been going well for her with her stews throughoutBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5. With Daisy working hard to get her crew up to the typical superyacht standard, she’s been doing a poor job delegating and managing the emotions of the stews aboard Parsifal III. Working with Diana Cruz and Danni Warren,Daisy was hopeful that the trio would be able to bond early on in the charter season, but after calling one of her stews out, things changed.

During one of the recentepisodes ofBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5, Daisy called out Diana for not sacrificing her break in order to learn more about bartending. While Diana was meant to be taking some time away from the busy schedule of Parsifal III, she was pushed to attend a bartending lesson rather than gathering herself during her downtime. When Diana refused,Daisy didn’t take it well and struggled to deal with the fact that she was being shut down.

Daisy May Be A Producer Plant

She’s Been Acting Up More Than Usual

Although Daisy has been called a great Chief Stew in past seasons, many have been wondering if she’s become a producer plant rather than a legitimate yachtie throughout the current season of the series. Daisy has been acting differently throughout the course ofBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5, which has made some curious about her status as a producer plant. WhileDaisy’s behavior hasn’t necessarily been wrong, she hasn’t been the kind, empathetic Chief Stew that viewers have gotten to know in the past. Instead,it’s been hard for Daisy to be direct or understandingwith her crew.

ThroughoutBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5, Daisyhas been stirring the pot more than ever. While she has her issues with Gary, she’s been egging on the drama and being unreasonable with her stews, making it seem like she’s spurring things on. Daisy has come off more like a producer plant throughout the season as she’s made it clear that she’s here for the drama more than she has been in previous seasons. Many have wondered ifDaisy’s motivations for being on the showhave changed, pushing her to align with producers to stir up drama on the show.

Daisy Is Feuding With Gary King

Their Friendship Is On The Rocks

Although Daisy and Gary have always been able to handle each other’s criticism and had great banter, things have changed for the pair since theBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 4 reunion. WhileGary and Daisy didn’t have as much dramabetween them during the season, the way Gary spoke about Daisy during the reunion was hurtful to her, and created issues between her and the First Officer. Though they both shared some rough sentiments, Daisy and Gary knew thatthey’d be getting back aboard Parsifal III to filmBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5 in a matter of days.

Throughout the season, Daisy and Gary’s relationship hasn’t been what it once was. Despite knowing that there were issues they’d have to tackle off screen, their interactions have been more difficult and tense because of the drama between them. Gary, who hasn’t been heavilyfeatured throughoutBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5, hasn’t been someone Daisy can turn to in difficult times anymore. Instead, the pair have been uncomfortable, distant, and tough to follow throughout the season.Their drama has caused the rest of the crew to have to take on more of the spotlightonBelow Deck Sailing Yacht.

Daisy Is Damaging The Show

She’s Making Things More Difficult

After years of showing up and being one ofBelow Deckviewers' favorite yachties, Daisy has gotten to a point where she’s damaging the show by continuing to be part of the crew. Her difficult behavior and general attitude haven’t been something that viewers are enjoying, and her relationship with Gary has soured many on her behavior in general. While Daisy is capable of doing her job well, she hasn’t been showing her skills onBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5.

Moving forward, her red flags either need to be addressed, or she needs to make the difficult decision to leave the series behind.Daisy’s behavior has been tough to ignore, andBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5 has been worse for it.
