One of the headline additions to the new Space-Time Smackdown expansion inPokémon TCG Pocketis Palkia ex. The Legendary Water-type has one of the new packs named after it, alongside the Dialga ex packs, but it is also the focus point for an extremely strong deck that can take down a lot of meta builds.
Since the launch ofPokémon TCG Pocket,Water-type decks have been strong thanks to the overpowered Misty card. This was further enhanced with a new version of Vaporeon in the Mythical Island expansion and again by several useablecards in the Space-Time Smackdown. Of the new Water-type decks, Palkia ex is the strongest, and here is the best deck to use with it.

Palkia Ex Cards List
Support Card To Build Up Palkia ex
The Palkia ex Card is strong in its own right for two reasons. Firstly, it has a basic attack, Slash, which only costs one energy and does 30 damage, meaning a couple of hits can KO the most basic Pokémon quickly at the start of a battle. However, its real strength is its attack, Dimensional Storm, which does 150 damageand can defeat almost all Pokémon in one hit. In the best deck, Articuno ex is used as a backup big hitter in case you can’t set Palkia up quickly, but some versions of this deck go with Starmie ex instead.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket’s latest event shows that its developers are listening to fans, especially when it comes to fixing the trade system.
The otherPokémon are all used as support and energy providers. Manaphy is incredibly effective with its attack Oceanic Gift, which gives two of your bench Pokémon Water energy. Vaporeon similarly allows you to move Water energy between your Pokémon, which is vital if you need to swap between your main attackers.

Best Strategy To Win With a Palkia Ex Deck
Misty, Manaphy, And Vaporeon Key To Winning
The key to the Palkia ex deck is to use three cards to help you get energy quickly and move it to your power headline Pokémon. Ideally, I like to start with Manaphy as my active Pokémon, which allows me to quickly build Palkia ex and either Vaporeon or Articuno ex as a backup. The bestnew Pokémon Tool Giant Capeshould be attached to Manaphy, allowing it to get at least 2 or 3 energy onto your bench Pokémon.
Pokémon TCG Pocket: Best Space-Time Smackdown Darkness Deck Guide (Best Strategy & Cards List)
The Space-Time Smackdown expansion introduces a dominant Darkness-type deck featuring Darkrai ex and Weavile ex, focusing on quick, powerful attacks.
After the initial first few turns,Vaporeon can move energy around as you please, so if you need to retreat with Palkia ex at any point, the energy can be moved to a secondary option in one turn.
Vaporeon itself is a viable attacker. Wave Splash deals 60 damage and has 120 HP to withstand attacks.
If you don’t draw Manaphy at the start,Palkia ex can still do a great job as an active Pokémon due to its Slash attack, which can earn a quick point. It is also bulky, meaning it can take several hits, and holding the Leaf card can be used to retreat if needed. While it discards three energy when using its Dimensional Storm attack, you can then use Misty to have a shot at quickly getting it back to full strength.
Cyrus brings an additional end-game threat, especially given that Palkia ex also does 20 damage to bench Pokémon. This can set a weak bench Pokémon up for an easy point to seal the win. While it might struggle against fast-paced Electric-type decks, it can quickly dominate a lot of the other meta decks currently inPokémon TCG Pocket. The best Palkia ex deck inPokémon TCG Pocketuses support cards to build it quickly, allowing it to dominate several of the other best decks.
