New images fromBlue Bloodsseason 14 reveal a look at some new characters that are slated to appear in the series.Blue Bloodsis a procedural series that tackles the stories of a group of New York City cops. The images show alook at actors Mira Sorvino and Debi Mazarin their upcoming guest star roles inBlue Bloods. Playing DA Evaline Romano, Mazar is seen in the first of the two images, showing up for her new role. The second image shows a look at Sorvino in the role of Fire Commissioner Veronicia Radley, who sits across the table from Selleck’s Frank Reagan.

Along with the images, theBlue Bloodsreport provided further insight as to how Romano and Radley will fit into theBlue Bloodsseason 14 story. Mazar will guest star on October 18, and her character will be involved ininvestigating ADA Erin Reagan’s jury misconduct allegations. Romano will “go head-to-head with Erin,” creating drama with the lead. Sorvino makes her appearance on the show two weeks later, on November 1, with her character hoping to forge a better relationship with Mayor Peter Chase.
WhileBlue Bloodsis taking on new guest stars, the show is coming to a close at theend of season 14. Viewers of the show did not take to this news lightly, with many viewers urging, along with actor Selleck, that the series be picked up again. Despite these pleas, CBS confirmed in May thatthey were not planning to bring backBlue Bloods.
Despite the widespreaddisappointment surrounding theBlue Bloodscancellation, it is great to see that the show is still keeping things fresh going into the final episodes. By introducing new guest stars,Blue Bloodswill keep up the intrigue even as it nears the end of the road. Mazar and Sorvino are an exciting set of actors to be added to the cast, as they are both experienced actors.
