Cross Show Cast & Character Guide
Prime Video’s Cross brings James Patterson’s characters back to the screen, with a cast including Aldis Hodge, Isaiah Mustafa and much more.
After Bobby agrees to accept the offer, Kayla extends the deal by asking him if he can get her access to all the dirt Ramsey had acquired on powerful people. In return, she promises he will get paid a hefty sum when he returns from prison. Bobby questions why he would give her access to the information when he could use it to blackmail influential people himself. Kayla responds by assuring him that he is better off getting paid and walking away instead of getting his hands dirty with powerful folks. With this, Bobby Tery seems convinced that Kayla’s offer is in his best interest.

What Bobby Trey & Kayla Craig’s Deal Means For Their Return In Cross Season 2
Kayla’s Deal Might Have Set Her Up As Season 2’s Villain
While Bobby Trey will likely end up in prison after season 1’s events, he might return as season 2’s villain if the police do not keep their side of the deal and betray him. Before giving access to Kayla Craig on Ed Ramsey’s incriminating information on powerful people, he might secretly store a backup of it somewhere safe. Since he, too, previously worked in the police department, he must be familiar with their tricks. Owing to this, it would not be surprising if he returns with a backup plan in season 2 and seeks revenge on Cross and Kayla if they fail to honor their end of the bargain.
Crossseason 2 was renewed on Amazon Prime Video ahead of season 1’s release.

SinceKayla shares her last name with the original Alex Cross novels' major villain, Kyle Craig, she, too, might have ulterior motives. She could either use the information to land Cross in some serious trouble or leverage it, like Ramsey, to manipulate the rich and the powerful. Or, she could even use it to help the titular character in the upcoming installment of the Amazon series. Hopefully,Crossseason 2 will provide more answers.
