Developers Nightdive Studios have unexpectedly announced that the classic adventure gameI Have No Mouth, And I Must Screamwill be coming to consoles for the first time since the game’s original release in 1995. The psychological horror adventure game based on the 1967 short story of the same name was released nearly 30 years ago on, fittingly, Halloween. The title’s unique take on some dark topics earned it instant cult-game status, influencing the horror genre and becoming a beloved memory for many fans.
Now, the game will be able to reach a whole new audience asI Have No Mouth, And I Must Screammakes its way to consoles for the first time ever. The creepy title will beavailable on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on March 27. The announcement was accompanied by a video clip from the game featuring audio from the cruel Master Computer AM, voiced by the short story’s writer, Harlan Ellison.
