Once you’ve unlocked the Fiery Planes section of Mythopia inDisney Dreamlight Valley’sStorybook Valeexpansion, you’ll automatically unlock a quest, bringing you one step closer to completing another Mythic Trial. While you’ll have to complete the one in the Elysian Fields first, you can complete the remaining two trials in any order.
The remaining Mythic Trials work similarly to the one that allowed you tounlock Hades inDisney Dreamlight Valley. First, you will need to complete a quest unlocking the portal, which, for the Fiery Planes, includes upgrading your Watering Can so you’re able to water the flames and reach the lever. Once you’ve done that, enter the portal to begin The Promethean Flame quest.
How To Start The Promethean Flame Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The First Torch - Center
When you enter the Mythic Trial, lower the lever in front of you to allow you to cross the bridge and speak with Hades. He’ll inform you that, for thisDisney Dreamlight Valleytrial, you’ll need to help him light three torches. Though it sounds different, it’ll be the same process as the other two Mythic Trials sinceyou’ll just be pushing carts to move torches until they’re in the correct position.
The Storybook Vale Is The Expansion Pass Disney Dreamlight Valley Needed
The Storybook Vale has only had its first of two parts released, but it’s a significant addition to the game, bringing a lot of much-needed content.
Luckily,the first one doesn’t require any puzzle-solvingand is more so just there as an example. If you look to the left of where Hades stands, you’ll see a torch cart connected to a very short path. If you go ahead and push it, it will lock into place and automatically light. This is the same process you’ll need to repeat with the remaining two torches, but they’ll require a bit more work.
The Second Torch - Right Side
To light the second torch,head to the right side of the Mythic Trial, where you should see a gate leading down some steps. Follow the steps down to a lever, which will lower a bridge that you should be able to see at the top of your screen. Head back up the stairs and immediately to the right, across the bridge you just lowered. At the end of the bridge, you’ll see a pedestal with a riddle indicating that you need to water the mechanism attached to it.
Take out your watering can and water the indicated mechanism to activate the pedestal.
Now, you have the option of going left or right. Both will lead to puzzles you need to complete, but for this one, head to the right, where the light connects, leading you to a couple of gates blocking a cart with a torch on it. If you take the stairs on the side to the platform above the gates, you’ll find a lever that opens the gates when you use yourRoyal Net tool.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Storybook Vale - How To Feed Owls
Players can now befriend Owls in Disney Dreamlight Valley but they can be found only in one area and prefer certain types of food.
Once you’ve opened the gates, head back down the stairs. Since you can’t squeeze through the one with the cart,you need to break the rocks through the other gate and go around to the back of the cart. From here, all you need to do is push the cart along the path you created, and once you reach the final pedestal, the torch should automatically light.
The Final Torch - Left Side
There is only one torch left. To access it,head back to the pedestal that you had to water, but instead of going right, go left. While walking down that path, you’ll pass a lever on your left side, stop, and activate it to lower a bridge. Once the bridge is lowered, keep going along the path and to the back corner where the cart with the torch is. You can’t push it yet; instead,lower the bridge next to itby interacting with the lever next to it.
Cross the bridge to find a chest and another pedestal mechanism that needs to be watered.Water the mechanism with the watering canactivate it, and now all the pedestals should be connected by a light beam. Now, you canhead back to the cart with the torch and push it along the pathuntil it reaches the last spot when it will light.
How To Complete The Mythic Trial
Speak With Hades & Finish The Quest
After lighting the last torch, go back and speak with Hades again, who will inform you that you’ve completed the task he assigned you. Interact with the purple flames behind him to be transported out of the Mythic Trial, where you’ll watch a brief cutscene showing another torch lighting, which, if this was your last Mythic Trial, will show the gates to Olympus opening. After another brief chat with Hades, The Promethean Flame quest will be completed.
If you haven’t already, you’re able to complete the last Mythic Trial in the Statues Shadow or head over to the Everafter tocomplete any remaining Fairy Tale Trials. Either way, you’ll be closer to completing part one of the Storybook Vale expansion story inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
