Dragon Ball Daima Episode #10 Release Date & Time

Dragon Ball Daimaepisode #10is looking to be a bit of a mystery, as the preview didn’t reveal much. With Goku’s group headed towards the Second Demon World, and Vegeta’s group having reclaimed their plane, there’s much to be done–and that’s without mentioning the new Majin creature that’s just been unleashed…

Episode #9 ofDaimasaw Goku’s group landing and checking in to a hotel, only to attract some attention, as word had already spread about Goku’s victory over the Tamagami. While the team tried to get some good rest in, a pair of thieves took action, with one setting up a distraction that allowed his partner to smash into their hotel room and steal the Dragon Ball. Panzy had prepared for this, however, by placing a tracker in the bag with the ball, allowing Goku to catch up to them and defeat the thieves with relative ease. Here’s how to tune in for episode #10 of this hit series.

When Do New Episodes of Dragon Ball Daima Release?

Dragon Ball Daimacurrently premieres new episodes on Crunchyroll each week on Fridays, at 8:45 AM Pacific Time, or 11:45 AM Eastern Time.As a result, fans can expect episode #10 to drop on Friday, June 03, 2025, at 8:45 AM PT/11:45 AM ET. Due to how close the Crunchyroll release is to the Japanese airing time, episodes will initially be available only in Japanese with subtitles. An English dub ofDaimais being produced, but will not debut on Crunchyroll until August 22, 2025, although the first three episodes received a theatrical premiere on November 10-12, 2024.

What Happened in Dragon Ball Daima Episode #9?

Majin Kuu is Born

As mentioned above,Daimaepisode #9 began with Goku having to retrieve the Dragon Ball after it was stolen by some thieves. After getting the Dragon Ball back, Goku agreed to keep watch while the others slept, but he couldn’t quite make it through the night. Nothing else happened, however, so the group got on the road in the morning, hoping to meet up with Vegeta’s team at Warp-sama’s location. The preceding night was eventful for Vegeta as well, though, with him getting into a bar fight, much like Goku did upon arriving in the Demon Realm.

Their plane was stolen by the people Vegeta fought with, and they couldn’t all fit on Goku’s group’s plane, so Goku’s group went on ahead while Vegeta’s group waited for a new plane. The hooligans from the night before returned to claim vengeance on Vegeta, but he and Piccolo handled them with ease, and managed to retrieve their plane.

Meanwhile, Arinsu was still with the witch Marba, her creation almost complete. After adding a Saibaman seed to the mixture, her cauldron overflowed, and from out of the muck emerged a new Majin creature, dubbed “Majin Kuu.“Majin Kuu looks a lot like Buu, but a sickly yellow-green color instead of pink. Given orders to take out a Tamagami and claim a Dragon Ball, the Majin smiled and spoke, suggesting it’s more intelligent than Buu was, and may be more dangerous as a result.

Dragon Ball Daima Episode #9 Was Slow to Move the Plot

Much of This Episode Was Insignificant in the Big Picture

The events of episode #9 ofDaimadidn’t really add up to very much when all was said and done. The Dragon Ball was stolen, but was recovered quickly. Vegeta’s plane was stolen, but recovered quickly. In fact, both of these tasks were accomplished with such ease that they may as well not have happened at all, as far as the overarching plot of the series is concerned. The thieves hounding Goku did go to show just how fast word of Goku’s accomplishments is spreading, while Vegeta’s group mostly served as a way to get in the mandatory fight scene for the episode.

Much more important wasthe appearance of this Majin Kuu, whom Arinsu is hoping has the power to take out a Tamagami. Majin Kuu is almost certainly going to be the final enemy ofDragon Ball Daima, and thus will likely be even more powerful than the Tamagami. If Kuu possesses the powers of Buu, he’s certainly going to be a challenging opponent, but who knows what other kind of tricks he may have up his sleeves. Whether doing Majin Buu again is a good idea remains to be seen, butDaimahas been so well done so far that there doesn’t seem to be much reason to worry at the moment.

What to Expect in Dragon Ball Daima Episode #10

Vegeta’s Group Encounters the Demon Realm Ocean

Episode #10 ofDragon Ball Daimais entitled “Ocean,” and the preview showed Bulma looking out the window of the plane in awe. That’s about it, however; the preview gave absolutely no indication as to what Goku’s group is up to, nor any hint as to the plot of the episode. As such, it’s hard to really talk about what episode #10 will actually be about. It is known that Goku’s group areon their way to Warp-sama, intending to go to the Second Demon World and challenge the Tamagami there, so presumably their travel, at least, will be featured in the next episode.

There’s also this new Majin Kuu for the story to deal with. With Majin Kuu sent on a mission to challenge a Tamagami, there may be a rather exciting fight between the two coming up, although whether that will be in the next episode or a later one remains to be seen. Gomah’s men may also be taking action to intercept Goku’s group on their way to the Second Demon World’s Dragon Ball, since they are aware of the group’s plan. Gomah’s men have proven no challenge to Goku so far, however, and there’s no reason to expect that to change now.

Dragon Ball Daimahas now debuted its true villain, and that’s all the more reason to check out new episodes on Crunchyroll as soon as they drop.
