Some unusualDragon Ballcollaborations have recently been announced, ranging fromcans of tuna featuring familiar characterslikeMini GokuandPanzyto a new tie-up that is quite literally something to behold.

Starting in March and April, theJapanese eyewear chain, JINS, will offer customers 12 different pairs of glasses frames inspired bycharacters from both the originalDragon BallandDaima, available in both adult and kids' sizes. The collection is spread out across two distinct lines: theDragon Ball DAIMAModel and theDragon BallModel, each offering unique features and designs.

A Tribute to New and Classic Characters

Scheduled for release on July 19, 2025,theDragon Ball DAIMA Modelcollection from JINS offers a total of 12 designs: one frame type with six variations for adults and one frame type with six variations for children. The frames adopt a Wellington shape with a unique browline design, reflecting the colors and characteristics of beloved characters such as Mini Goku, Mini Vegeta, Mini Supreme Kai, Mini Piccolo, King Gomah, and Mini Bulma. Each pair comes with an original case and cleaning cloth. Prices are set at ¥10,900 (approximately $72) for adults and ¥8,900 (approximately $59) for children.

Launching on July 08, 2025, theDragon BallModel line is aimed atadults who grew up with Akira Toriyama’s original series.This line comprises six frame types with eight designs, blending the nostalgic essence of the initialDragon Ballstoryline with modern aesthetics. The frames feature subtle nods to the series, such as metal temple cores depicting scenes of Goku flying on the Flying Nimbus and Bulma riding her bike, as well as hinge details inspired by the Four-Star Dragon Ball. Each pair includes a dedicated case, a capsule-shaped case, and an original cleaning cloth designed to evoke the anime’s ending scenes. TheDragon BallModel eyewear is priced at ¥24,900 (approximately $165).
