Unlike most fan art, which is often aspirational and depicts ideas and images that fans hope to see in their favorite series,Trunks achieving Beast Mode is a genuine possibility. In fact, there’s no compelling reason to believe that only Gohan can unlock Beast Mode. On the contrary, there are more reasons to suggest that Trunks could achieve Beast Mode than not. This possibility makes Kakeru’s artistry all the more exciting and plausible.
First, like Gohan, Trunks is the child of a human mother and a Saiyan father. If some aspects of achieving Beast Mode result fromthe combination of human and Saiyan blood, then Trunks is well-positioned for success. Furthermore, since Trunks is descended from Saiyan royalty, any Beast Mode he might achieve could be more impressive than Gohan’s version. Lastly, few Saiyan transformations are unique to specific characters. Indeed, outsideGoku Black’s Super Saiyan Rosé, Broly’s Legendary Super Saiyan, Trunks' Super Saiyan Rage, and Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue Evolution, there are no other character-specific Super Saiyan transformations.
