TheGenshin Impact5.1 character banners have allegedly leaked, giving players more insight into what they can expect in terms of new playable units as well as rerun opportunities. Currently, the action RPG by developer HoYoverse is at the start of Version 5.0 and players still have a chance to pull for Mualani, a new Hydro DPS from Natlan, as well as Kachina, a 4-star Geo sub-DPS who has increased drop rates from banners in Phase 1. Phase 2 of the update has yet to occur but it will introduce Kinich, a newNatlan character inGenshin Impact5.0.
The developer has officially announced one new playable unit for the upcoming patch, known as Xilonen. So far, HoYoverse has only confirmed that she is a Geo character and her name has been mentioned in the first Archon Quests added with Version 5.0. It is expected she will play an important role in the next few story missions and will also become playable with the arrival of the patch. Xilonen is likely the only new character in Version 5.1, and recent leaks about the banner structure and the reruns for theGenshin Impactupdate indicate that may be the case.

One New Character Is Confirmed For Genshin Impact 5.1
Three Rerun Characters Have Leaked For The Next Update
Apparently, the Version 5.1 banner structure has leaked. According to information given by the leaker known as Hakushin, which was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” onReddit, the four 5-star characters featured in the update are Xilonen, Chiori, Nahida, and Hu Tao. If these are characters that will appear in the character banners, their respective signature 5-star weapons should also appear in the weapons banner during the period they are featured for. The leak does not mention the six 4-star characters with increased drop rates across Phase 1 and Phase 2 character banners inGenshin Impact5.1.
Normally, 4-star characters with increased drop rates remain unknown until very close to the update’s release.

Leaked Phase 1 Character Banners In Genshin Impact 5.1
Xilonen May Debut Along With A Chiori Rerun
Based on the structure of Hakushin’s leak, it seems like Xilonen and Chiori will be the featured 5-star characters in Phase 1 banners of Version 5.1 – meaning it should be a plentiful period for players who are after Geo characters. Xilonen is a new 5-star Geo unit, though little is officially known about her. However,Xilonen’s leaks inGenshin Impact5.1indicate that she will be a support unit and a debuffer against enemies. The leaks mention thatXilonen’s Elemental Skill will be able to apply Resistance shred against opponents, meaning they will be more vulnerable to damage.
Genshin Impact 5.1 Leaks Are Enough Reason For Me To Get Deep Into Imaginarium Theater
New details about a reward in Imaginarium Theater have been mentioned in Genshin Impact 5.1 leaks and they sound extremely promising to me.
These leaks say Xilonen can remove 36% of an enemy’s RES and that this effect comes through special field drops, allegedly called Source Samples. Her supportive abilities also seem to include the creation of shields for her party since she is a Geo unit that can trigger Crystallize reactions. Leaks about Xilonen’s kit, which were shared onReddit, also highlight thatshe can operate as a Geo healer. Via her Elemental Burst, Xilonen allegedly deals AoE Geo DMG to opponents, and based on how many Source Samples she has on the field, extra effects are triggered inGenshin Impact.

According to the leak, Xilonen will heal nearby active characters if she has at least two Source Samples that experienced Elemental Conversion. If fewer than two Source Samples underwent Elemental Conversion, she will deal extra AoE Geo DMG.Both Xilonen’s DMG and healing are rumored to scale off her DEF stat, uniquely. If this is true, players should not need to worry about building her around two stats but focus on a single stat, which could also improve her on-field performance. When it comes to mobility, Xilonen reportedly uses rollerblades to move in her Nightsoul’s Blessing state inGenshin Impact.
On the other hand, Chiori is a Geo sub-DPS.The character has a reliable source of off-field damage via her Tamoto summon, though, unlike many other Geo summons, this is not a construct and, therefore, cannot be destroyed. For Geo teams led by characters like Arataki Itto or Navia, Chiori is a superb addition, especially because she can significantly help with the Crystallize reactions.Chiori’s build inGenshin Impact, unfortunately, scales off two stats, but she can still her own in battle and is worth the investment if players want to increase their Elemental Shard creation.

Via her Skill, Chiori also has a helpful mobility skill that allows players to quickly teleport a short distance forward.
Leaked Phase 2 Character Banners In Genshin Impact 5.1
Nahida & Hu Tao Are Rumored To Rerun In The Second Half Of The Update
Hakushin’s leak seems to indicate that Nahida and Hu Tao will be the featured 5-star rerun characters in Version 5.1’s Phase 2 banners.Nahida is, arguably, the best Dendro character in the game so far. The Dendro Archon of Sumeru excels at everything she is designed to do. Initially, she is a great off-field sub-DPS capable of maintaining Dendro application – and a quick Elemental Skill cooldown that allows her to constantly apply it once it is over. Furthermore, her Skill marks and links nearby opponents, dealing extra damage whenever more Elemental Reactions are triggered inGenshin Impact.
This Skill also allows players to read some NPCs’ thoughts and even collect some types of materials from a distance.

Furthermore, Nahida works as a support character for Dendro reactions. Alternatively, Hu Tao is one of the game’s best Pyro DPS units. The classic Liyue character is known for sacrificing a portion of her own HP to increase her damage output and infuse her attacks with Pyro DMG.Hu Tao has been somewhat shadowcrept by other Pyro DPS releases, such as Lyney andArlecchino inGenshin Impact, but she is still a great character of that elemental type to have, especially if players do not have access to the aforementioned characters.
Genshin Impact 5.1 Leaks Hint At New Location In Snezhnaya
A new location from Snezhnaya may be revealed during Genshin Impact 5.1, hinting at what players may expect from the Nation of Cryo in 2025.
As is the case with any piece of leaked information, the rumored details about the character banner structure in Version 5.1 should be taken with a grain of salt. The order of characters and even the characters themselves may be changed before the update is officially announced. The only one players can truly rely on is Xilonen, who has been announced for the upcoming patch, though it is still unconfirmed in which of the two banner Phases ofGenshin Impact5.1 she will appear.
