A new image from this year’s “Treehouse of Horror” episode ofThe Simpsonsshows Homer in a parody of theVenommovies. Every year,The Simpsonsreleasesa “Treehouse of Horror” episodefor Halloween, featuring three stories that are darker and more violent than usual, which often parody iconic properties, especially in the horror genre. Staying true to the show’s schedule, “Treehouse of Horror XXXV” will be premiering on Fox on November 5.
Ahead of its premiere,The SimpsonsshowrunnerMatt Selmantook to his Twitter to share an image from “Treehouse of Horror XXXV”, which shows Homer sitting at the bar at Moe’s Tavern. In the image, Homer is looking concerned at his pants, which have a face just like Venom. The image also shows that the Venom pants were created with stop-motion animation, while Homer remains in the show’s regular animation style.
