G.I. Joe#4 – written by Joshua Williamson, with art by Tom Reilly – picks up the story from last issue’s cliffhanger, in which Duke, Risk and Baroness attempted to protect Dr. Archibald Monev from being kidnapped by theCrimson Twins, Tomax & Xamot.
Ultimately, Duke and his team fail their mission, as the Twins’ new Stinger jeep proves to be too much for them to handle. Dr. Monev falls into the grasp of Cobra, butthat’s only one piece of the Commander’s plan, as he also manages to acquire Monev’s Brainwave Scanner for his new ultimate weapon.

With such a weapon at his disposal, the Commander could easily achieve what many a supervillain has tried in the past, and truly take over the world.
