Farming Mavuika’s materials inGenshin Impactis a crucial step toward unlocking her full potential as a character in various team comps, but it could be troublesome if you don’t know what to gather and where to start.Mavuika is confirmed to be one of the new characters added with Version 5.3. As the Pyro Archon, she will use the Pyro element in combat and it is expected that she will be a 5-star unit. Developer HoYoverse has not revealed more details about her ahead of her release butleaks about Mavuika inGenshin Impact5.3have highlighted her kit.

If the leaks are true,Mavuika may operate as a hybrid DPS and sub-DPS. This is because she seems incentivized to be the main character dealing damage to enemies on the field, but is also capable of activating abilities that deal off-field damage, which would allow other main DPS to take the lead. The big batch of leaks came from the beta tests for Version 5.3 and, while the new gameplay abilities tend to be the highlight, other details are also being shared, such aspre-farming routes for Mavuika inGenshin Impact5.3.

Ascension Materials To Farm For Mavuika In Genshin Impact

You’ll Need To Farm Several Bosses

Because Mavuika is confirmed to be a Pyro character, you’re able to comfortably start farming her first set of materials: Agnidus Agate stones.Agnidus Agate Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones can be farmed from bosses aligned with Pyro. This includes opponents like the Pyro Hypostasis, Primo Geovishap, Legatus Golem, Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant, and theKnave inGenshin Impact. As materials part of the same item family, lower-grade Agnidus Agate stones can be transformed into rarer ones at the Alchemy Table.

The table below lists all of Mavuika’s Ascension materials, as reported byHoney Hunter World(the information stems from Version 5.3 leaks and, as such, is still highly subject to change):

Unfortunately, you cannot optimize the farming efforts of the Agnidus Agate stones by coinciding them with the ones for her required world boss material, as the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device only drops Vajrada Amethyst stones. As such, you will need to farm Agnidus Agate stones from any boss of your choice and also defeat theSecret Source automaton boss inGenshin Impacttofarm Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core, an important Ascension material for Mavuika. Only 46 copies are required, but given the limitation on Resin, it may take you some days to farm everything needed.

Genshin Impact’s Lumine Traveler appears in flames in front of a crackling black-and-white picture of Xiangling.

The next material you’ll need to farm for Mavuika is called Withering Purpurbloom, a Local Specialty from Natlan that’s mostly located around the subregion of Ochkanatlan. As is the case with most Local Specialties, Withering Purpurblooms have limited nodes on the map and only respawn after 48 hours in real life. This means that farming this resource could be time-consuming and, as such, it’s best to follow theWithering Purpurbloom farming route inGenshin Impactto ensure you obtain as much as you can and repeat the route as few many times as you need to grab all 168 copies.

Genshin Impact Character Banners Will Get A Massive Improvement According To New Leaks

A big and drastic update may occur to banners in Genshin Impact 5.3, according to new leaks, which would spark positive change for players.

The final set of Ascension materials listed by Honey Hunter World is composed of Sentry’s Wooden Whistle, Warrior’s Metal Whistle, and Saurian-Crowned Warrior’s Golden Whistle. These materials drop from Sauroform Tribal Warriors across Natlan. They are not guaranteed drops, so you’ll need to repeatedly defeat these humanoid enemies. Mavuika will need these items to fully Ascend and also for her Talent-upgrade process, so you’ll want to farm in a huge batch. As materials that are part of the same item family, don’t forget to use the Alchemy Table to transform the materials according to the Ascension needs.

To better locate Sauroform Tribal Warriors, open the interactive map onHoYoLABand filter the enemy type you want to farm.

In addition to the materials, per si,you will need to pay 420,000 Mora to unlock each of the Ascension thresholds, plus an extra 1,637,400 Mora if you are leveling up Mavuika with Character EXP MaterialsinGenshin Impact. In case you are low on Mora, you can farm more through Blossom of Wealth activities across Teyvat. I’d recommend you farm Blossoms of Wealth in Natlan, as they have a chance of putting you against Sauroform Tribal Warriors, who drop the much-needed Whistle materials.

Talent Materials To Farm For Mavuika In Genshin Impact

One Of The Materials Couldn’t Be Pre-Farmed

In addition to the Whistle materials that Mavuika consumes for both her Ascension and Talents, the other set of materials listed for upgrading her abilities is composed of Teachings of Contention, Order to Contention, and Philosophies of Contention. The Contention Talent books can be farmed in Natlan’s Blazing Ruins Domain on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. A lot of these will be required and you will likely challenge this Domain several times until you have all the Contention Talent books you need forMavuika inGenshin Impact.

The table below lists all the Talent materials for Mavuika, as per Honey Hunter World’s leaked list:

Mora

The other Talent material for Mavuika is a weekly boss drop from an opponent that arrives in Version 5.3, alongside the Pyro Archon’s debut as a playable character. As such, this material could not be pre-farmed. The horn-shaped item is one of three different boss materials that can be obtained from the upcoming andleaked weekly boss inGenshin Impact5.3. If you obtain the other materials dropped by the boss, you can transform them into the one you need at an Alchemy Table with the help of a Dream Solvent.

The final material you will need for Mavuika’s Talents is Crown of Insight. This rare Talent material can be obtained from some limited-time events and reputation systems across the game. Only three copies are needed (one for each Talent) but it could be difficult to farm them by other means. If you have enough Masterless Starglitter, you can purchase one per month from Paimon’s Bargains.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks: Pyro Traveler’s Kit Shows Xiangling’s Reign As A Pyro Sub-DPS May Have Come To An End After Four Years

The Pyro Traveler could become the best new Pyro sub-DPS in Genshin Impact, based on the leaks regarding their gameplay kit in Version 5.3.

In total, you should spend nearly five million Mora to upgrade all of Mavuika’s Talents to the maximum levels, which means you may see yourself forced to farm more Mora. As is the case with farming Mora for her Ascension, it’s recommended that you challenge Blossom of Wealth activities in Natlan to conveniently farm Whistle materials at the same time.

Aside from the one Talent material that couldn’t be pre-farmed, most of Mavuika’s materials are quick and easy to gather thanks to the fact that they were in the game before her release. Once you fully Ascend her and start upgrading her Talents, you can work on her build to tailor her out into whatever role you want her to occupy in your team comp, be it a main DPS or a Pyro sub-DPS inGenshin Impact.
