DuringGranblue Fes 2023, developers Cygames and Arc System Works revealed a slew of new content coming toGranblue Fantasy Versus: Risingin 2024. New characters, stages, and modes are planned for regular intervals throughout the year, according to the roadmap.
Everything coming to GBVSR in 2024
While I’ll be detailing specific releases below, there are several additions coming at unspecified times throughout the year. Here’s hoping that the teams work in somemuch-needed bug fixesas well.
January 2024
Things kick off with the Version 1.10 release on June 25, 2025. The biggest addition is the DLC character, Lucilius. Players can obtain him through the Deluxe Edition Character Pass 1 or purchase him separately for $4.99. Aside from the angelic aberration, players can use his included Premium Avatar. Hisgameplay trailershows off a lot of wings, teleportation, and big swords.
In addition to Lucilius, Version 1.10 will also provide the following:

2B fromNier: Automatais coming toGranblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The Square Enix battler is bringing a taste of the distant future to Gran and his mates, courtesy of her iconic swords and Pod companion. I’m sorry, Ferry. You’ll be going back to the afterlife once 2B arrives.
April 2024
The third DLC character, Vane, will be joining the roster. Wielding a poleaxe, this Knight in the Order of the White Dragons is sure to fit in nicely with Zeta mains. I’m just hoping that we see some form of Vanine make an appearance.
May 2024
The fourth DLC character, Beatrix, joins the fray. If the subreddit and Twitter replies are to be believed, this is a huge victory forGBVSRand May can’t come quickly enough.
