In 2014, Harry and his brother collaborated with MAC Cosmetics on a line of gender-neutral makeup and skin care called MAC Brant Brothers.

“It all kind of started with our relationship with people at [Estée] Lauder and MAC. My mom works for Estée and she’s close with a number of executives there,” Peter toldW Magazineat the time. “We just met them out, and we’d always talked about getting together and doing a collaboration. It was really [Lauder Executive Group President ] John Demsey’s idea. He talked to us about it and we’ve been working on it now for several years with them. And we’re so happy that its come together. It’s so amazing.”

The budding socialite died Sunday of an accidental overdose, his family said in a statement to theNew York Times.

Harry had reportedly struggled with addiction for several years.

“Harry was not just our son,” the family’s statement continued, going on to describe him as “a wonderful brother, loving grandson, favorite uncle and a caring friend.”

“He was a creative, loving and powerful soul that brought light into so many people’s hearts,” the statement said. “He was truly a beautiful person inside and out.”
