Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 6 release date
The new Hearthstone Battlegrounds season will start on Dec. 5 alongside patch 28.2. According to the game’s official social media post, the patch will be delayed due to unforeseen issues.

As mentioned, the new patch will involve a slew of new Tavern spells and minions. The Tavern spells, in particular, will be a new mechanic in Hearthstone Battlegrounds. True to their namesake, you’ll be able to buy these spells directly from the Tavern itself.

According to Blizzard, Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 6 will have 32 minions, 42 new spells, plus three new heroes. These heroes will be Doctor Holli’dae, Snake Eyes, and Tae’thelan Bloodwatcher. They all go with the currentShowdown in the Badlandstheme in the Standard game mode.
“We’re also bringing back [five] returning minions and removing 33 existing minions to make room for all these new recruits,“according to Blizzard.
