Our Take On House Of The Dragon Season 3’s New Cast
Dan Fogler Bucks A Game Of Thrones Casting Tradition
The casting of Dan Fogler, an American actor, bucks a longstanding tradition for theGame of Thronesfranchise, which features predominantly British actors with only a few exceptions, includingPeter Dinklage inGame of Thrones, whom Fogler will join as one of the only Americans to appear in the franchise. Fogler previously starred inFantastic Beasts, a prequel to the famously BritishHarry Potter, but his character, Jacob Kowalski, spoke with a Brooklyn accent. It’s interesting to see another American actor joining theGame of Thronesfranchise, but how he fares among the predominantly British cast remains to be seen.
House of the Dragonseason 3 is expected to premiere sometime in 2026.
