When you hit The Chiromancer with the Fizzle spell, it can’t cast spellsfor at least a few turns. This prevents the boss from healing themselves or the Madvlad and from dealing any damage to the one character you have in the dungeon. With one cast of magic, you make this fight a lot easier, provided that you have a character who is capable of casting Fizzle.

Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake successfully introduces a new generation to one of the best RPGs of all time, along with a host of improvements.
Take your first turn to cast Fizzle on The Chiromancer, then tank whatever damage the Madvlad inflicts. From here, simplydeal enough damage to the Madvlad to take it outandreapply Fizzle to The Chiromancerwhen its effect runs out. It may take a couple of attempts for you to realize how long the Fizzle debuff lasts, but you should be able to time your next one when you figure this out.
Every attack The Chiromancer does, whether it works or not, restores a bit of its health. Don’t forget to go all in on attacking the boss once you’ve disposed of the Madvlad.
If The Chiromancer ever does get a chance to attack,watch out for its Oomph spell that boosts the boss' magic attack damage. The Chiromancer can combine this buff with Swoosh or Frizzle, two elemental magics of Wind and Fire respectfully that deal plenty of damage.
