You can now obtain a Shiny Enamorus and a Shiny Manaphy for free inPokémon HOME, but there are some requirements to accomplish before obtaining these gifts. The distribution of free Shiny Legendary and Mythical Pokémon is not exactly new, but they tend to be rare. In fact, these limited events are often the only way of obtaining some of these Shiny creatures, as many of them are simply unobtainable without hacking the games. Enamorus, for example, is one of the manyShiny-locked Pokémon inPokémon Legends: Arceus.

Shiny Manaphy, on the other hand, was previously obtainable, but not intentionally. Manaphy Eggs could result in Shiny Manaphys if players traded the eggs before hatching, even if it was not Game Freak’s intention. Even so, outside this unexpectedShiny hunting Manaphy method, Manaphy was considered Shiny-locked for all intents and purposes. Now, the Water-type Mythical Pokémon is also being distributed to players as part of a special and ongoing event, but you need to fulfill some requirements first.
