Sonic Sway is a powerful defensive maneuver inDragon Ball Sparking! Zerothat lets you turn your opponent’s aggression against them. It’s not just a simple dodge; it’s like the perfect setup for a counterattack technique that lets you exploit the weaknesses of certain enemy attacks. However, it is very hard to pull off well, and you may leave yourself open to a beatdown if you don’t do it right. If you can do it well, though, it’s a great tool to have.

If you time it right, you can deflect their attacks, leaving them vulnerable while you gain a window to strike back. The gamble part comes with using it at the right time and against the right attacks, especially against a difficult AI. If you know when and how to use it, you’re going to be near unstoppable inDragon Ball Sparking! Zero.

Time It Well
Sonic Sway is a powerful defensive maneuver inDragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, but it requires precise timing and a keen understanding of your opponent’s attack patterns. You should only use it against Rush Attacks, which are quick and aggressive strikes often used by enemies. The telltale sign of a Rush Attack is to look at their outline. If yourenemy has a red outline, then they’re doing a rush attack, which can be beaten with Sonic Sway. You can see a visual of this in the video fromSlinkyCloud960below.
This maneuver gives a temporary invulnerability window, letting you dodge the Rush Attack and launch a counterattack. You’ll also drain some of your opponent’s Ki, giving you a strategic advantage. While Sonic Sway can also be used against certain Ki Blasts at the cost of two Ki gauges, don’t do it because it’s just a Ki waste. Only use it to counter Rush Attacks inDragon Ball Sparking! Zero. Any other use is just risky and not worth the effort.
