Invincibleseason 3 gives a look at a future timeline, one that hints thatAtom Eve may actually be immortal. It has become clear that Atom Eve is one of the most powerful superheroes in theInvincibleuniverse, with her move set making her a major player in any storyline that she is involved in. However,Invinciblejust teased that she may be even more powerful than anybody could have guessed.
Invincibleseason 3, episode 4 pays off a storyline set up earlier in the season, withDropkick and Fightmaster returningto find Invincible. They reveal that they are actually from a future run by an authoritarian king, and that they believe Mark is the only one who can save them. Mark hesitantly agrees, with him traveling into the future with the duo. Once there, he discovers thatImmortal has been reigning over Earth for hundreds of years. Immortal gives Mark some clues about his future, including one major reveal about Atom Eve.

When Mark is talking with King Immortal, he asks him about several of the main characters fromInvincible. Mark mentionsDupli-Kate, the wife of Immortal in the present day. However, Immortal says that he has no memory of her, which is quite shocking. This is made stranger when Immortal does mention that he remembers Eve. If Immortal can’t remember his wife after hundreds of years, it would be a bit strange for him to remember a coworker. However, this makes sense if Eve is still around.

The Invincible universe is full of major powerhouses, but Omni-Man stands out as the strongest of them all due to his impressive feats.
In the same conversation, Immortal mentions that Mark and his family left Earth, leaving Immortal behind. By synthesizing these clues, it can be concluded that Mark and Eve left Earth together, with Immortal remembering them due to the fact that he was waiting on them to return.It makes sense that Mark is still alive, as Viltrumites can live for hundreds of years. However, Eve is seemingly human, meaning that her seeming immortality will require some explanation.

Fans of the comics know that Atom Eve eventually learns thatshe is immortal in theInvinciblecomic books. In a later issue ofInvincible, Atom Eve’s powers revert her back to her younger self. She realizes that her powers to manipulate atoms can also allow her to manipulate herself into becoming immortal, meaning that she is able to live forever.
Invincible Season 3 Brings Back A Tragic Former Villain As Mark’s New Ally
Invincible season 3 has brought back one unique villain from Invincible season 2, but this time his role in the story is entirely different.
This means thatAtom Eve will probably live longer than Mark. While Mark could live for thousands of years, he will eventually die despite being a Viltrumite. Atom Eve will most likely never die of old age, and the only way that she could die would be for someone else to figure out how to deactivate her powers. This makes Atom Eve one ofInvincible’smost powerful heroes by far.
