Warning: There are spoilers ahead for From season 3, episode 10, “Revelations: Chapter Two.“AFromtheory suggests that Eloise Kavanaugh (Ellie Cluett) may still be alive. Eloise was the sister of Victor (Scott McCord), one ofFrom’s best characterswho has been trapped in the Town for decades. Victor was originally trapped in the Town with Eloise and their mother, Miranda (Sarah Booth), but had to learn to survive on his own.Fromseason 3 revealed Miranda’s fate, showing that she was killed by the Smiley monster (Jamie McGuire), although it is later explained that Tabitha Matthews (Catalina Sandino Moreno) is a reincarnation of Miranda.

As for Eloise, Victor has spoken before about how his sister died the same night Miranda told him to stay in the Town’s root cellar. During theFromseason 3 ending, Victor takes his father, Henry (Robert Joy), to where he buried what was left of Eloise after the monsters' massacre. However,Eloise’s fate may not be as sealed as Victor and Henry believe, with several pieces of evidence suggesting that Eloise could even be alive decades after her supposed demise.

Several Characters Have Been To Her Potential Hiding Spot

AReddittheory argues that Eloise is not dead, but has been “missing” since the night of the massacre decades ago. The theory mentions Victor’s remark about how Eloise was always good at playing hide and seek and that this was likely not a throwaway line. There is also discussion of how Eloise may be living in the settlement whereFromseason 3’s wooden statueswere found, which also includes cabins, red stones, and crops growing nearby.

From Season 3 Finally Explains A Major Mystery About The Monsters' Ages

From season 3’s ending answers major questions about the monsters, including why they are all adults and why there are no children among them.

Eloise could be the one responsible for growing the crops and has relied on them for sustenance in the decades since her presumed death. She may also be the source of the loud noise from outside that various characters hear when they stay overnight inside the cabins. The noise is one ofFrom’s unanswered mysteries, but Eloise may be the answer. She could also be the one who left the trap that Kristi Miller (Chloe Van Landschoot) got her foot caught in. This whole time,Eloise may have been using the settlement to survive and hide from the monsters.

Victor Not Knowing If The Body Parts He Actually Buried Are Eloise’s Makes This From Theory More Likely

He Only Found Small Pieces Of Her After The Massacre

When Victor takes Henry to the spot where he buried Eloise, he tells his father that all he found were pieces of his sister, and the monsters did not leave much of her, but he buried what he could. Between this and the fact that Victor was a traumatized child who had just lost his mother and his sister, it ispossible that none of these pieces were from Eloise’s body, and that they belonged to another massacred resident. It would be an understandable mistake to have made.

The night of the massacre has been shown in flashbacks.

AnotherReddittheory points to a drawing from the opening credits that shows a little girl who has lost an arm. This theory posits that the girl is Eloise and that she did lose an arm during the massacre, which are the pieces that Victor buried, but that she did survive and is still alive. Many of the drawings in the opening credits and in Miranda’s paintings have foreshadowed characters and events, including her painting that showed theMan in the Yellow Suit(Douglas E. Hughes) numerous episodes before he physically appeared in the season 3 finale.

What Eloise Still Being Alive Would Mean For From Season 4

A Bittersweet And Complex Family Reunion Awaits

Eloise being alive means thatthe entire Kavanaugh family could reuniteinFromseason 4. Henry spent decades believing that his wife and his children had died and Victor spent decades in the Town alone. Victor and Henry have reunited, and with Tabitha being a reincarnation of Miranda, and Eloise potentially being alive as well, a full Kavanaugh family reunion is viable. Much like Victor and Henry’s reunion, such a scenario would be bittersweet and present new complications.

If Eloise is alive, it is unclear whether she knew that Victor was out there all this time, or if she believed him to be dead.

Miranda now being Tabitha would be the most challenging part for the family to reconcile with, especially for Henry, who is a relative newcomer to the Town and its strange phenomenon. If Eloise is alive, it is unclear whether she knew that Victor was out there all this time, or if she believed him to be dead. If she knew Victor was out there and chose to stay hidden, that would be difficult for Victor and his parents to accept. It would be joyous and complicated for the Kavanaugh family to become whole again inFromseason 4.
