For starters,the voice actors forWitch Watchare doing a great job of capturing the comedic tone of their characters and the overarching narrative; naturally, Nico and Moi were the biggest standouts, but the voice actors for Kanshi, Keigo, Nemu, and the various supporting cast also greatly sell their roles and the chemistry they have with one another, so just from the trailer, the anime is doing a great job adapting the character-driven comedy.
More than that, of course, are the visuals of the trailer. Not only is the animation consistently great in every shot, butthe pleasing, vibrant color palette of theWitch Watchanime does a great job of emphasizing its status as a fantasy romcom, and that practice serves as a perfect translation of the manga’s colored illustrations, as well.
