Following that, the truth of why Lyla was so important was finally revealed:Lyla is the clone of Lyla Carter, a mad scientist who created a powerful weapon of mass destruction, and the New World Order wants to use Lyla to restart the original Lyla Carter’s work.
Despite the major revelation, Rita remained resolute in her mission to protect Lyla and the rest of the children, and she even came up with a plan to do just that. Whatever that plan was is unclear, but two months later,Kindergarten Noir has relocated to New York where Rita and the rest of the staff continue their mission and their fight with the New World Order, all while the mysterious leader of the New World Order tells his subordinates that it’s time to fully reset the world.

That being said, the actual ending is unlikely to disappoint. Series creator You Chiba stated that the final arc will be a long one, thus ensuring that there will be proper closure for various plot threads, and with how great the writing has been so far,Kindergarten Wars’ final arc will hopefully have the time and care put into it to give as great an ending as possible.
