Rebecca Falcone is a liability attorney sent by Shepherd-Hastings to deal with the aftermath of a TTP oil tanker crashing into a M-tex Oil plane that had been stolen by a cartel. However, Falcone’s arrival is bad news for Billy Bob Thorton’s Tommy Norris, because the company might blame the whole thing on him.

The actor reveals that “the snake was real,” and she was “absolutely terrified” when filming in the scene, even though “proper safety was in effect.” Talking about her character, Wallace reveals thatRebecca is an outsider who “gets thrown” into the danger of the worldand right away, she comes “face to face with a snake,” butthe attorney is going to adapt, “shuck and jive with the information,” and win the case. The snake was real. The snake was very much real, and there was proper protection, Plexiglas, protecting me from the snake, and the snake wranglers handling the snake, so there was no danger to me. But I was terrified. It was a real snake. [Laughs] I was absolutely terrified. Like I said, proper safety was in effect, so I had nothing to worry about. But I’m—I don’t even do well with spiders, I was terrified.
She kind of gets thrown in to the danger of this world, and kind of the recklessness. It’s the Wild West, and she gets thrown into it face to face with a snake. She’ll take all the information that she can get, so she’s gonna adapt to the surroundings that she’s in, and shuck and jive with the information that she’s getting to do her job right. At the end of the day, that’s what she is. She’s a successful attorney and will win her cases no matter what. So yeah, I’m excited for people to see where she takes this, what she does with this information.

Her relationship with Tommy Norris is also touch and go.The snake scene is pivotal for Rebecca because it’s the first time she faces the danger of the Wild Westinstead of looking at it from the outside.
As a liability attorney, Rebecca has the power to blame the whole thing on Norris and call it a day, and whether she is Team Norris is still too early to tell.
