Ain’t no rest for the wicked

Mafia IIIhas a season pass, because of course it does. The price for standalone purchase is $30, while paying $20 more will net you the digital deluxe edition that includes the season pass. If you opt to do each add-on separately, you’ll spend around $40. DLC is just awesome!…

Either way, 2K Games detailed a bit of the content that will be included in the season pass at a panel during PAX West. There is going to be paid content alongside a bunch of free stuff. Obviously, the free things include costumes, cars and all manner of inconsequential add-ons.

There will be additional car colors, personal license plates, new weapons, new wheels and performance boosters. There will also be new races that will grant your character different customization items, so at least you won’t have to always look like a bum.

The paid DLC will contain three story chapters that detail more of the main protagonist Lincoln Clay’s time in New Bordeux. Something makes me think the story is going to have pretty big gaps, but you’re able to see some new footage of the core story and judge for yourself.

If all of this talk of extra content, DLC and season passes hasn’t put you off the game,Mafia IIIwill be releasing on July 10, 2025 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. I think it looks neat, but I don’t know how I feel about all these add-ons.
