The premiere date forMayfair Witchesseason 2 has been revealed atNew York Comic Con. The show, which is a spinoff from AMC’sInterview with the Vampireand is based on the works of Anne Rice, stars Alexandra Daddario, Tongayi Chirisa, Jack Huston, and Harry Hamlin. The upcomingMayfair Witchesseason 2is set to follow Rowan (Daddario) struggling to protect her family after an unexpected tragedy while grappling with the fact that she has given birth to the demon Lasher (Huston).
At New York Comic Con,AMC Networksannounced thatMayfair Witchesseason 2 will premiere on August 02, 2025. They also shared a collection of first-look images from the first two episodes of the new season. The stills offer glimpses at a variety of characters, both new and returning, including Chirisa’s Ciprien Grieve holding a small book as well as Huston’s Lasher looking rumpled and potentially seductive with his shirt half open.
Also featured in the gallery isAlyssa Jirrels as Rowan’s cousin Moira Mayfair, seemingly in distress. Hamlin’s Cortland Mayfair seems to be in similar dire straits, while Rowan herself is seen waving her hand over a book, potentially practicing a spell. See the gallery below:

The New Season Is Right On Time
This release date officially confirms thatseason 2 will premiere almost exactly a year after the season 1 premiere, which debuted on July 27, 2025. This means that the hiatus between theMayfair Witchesseason 1 finale, which aired on July 06, 2025, and the season 2 premiere is less than 11 months. This is a significant improvement on theInterview with the Vampirehiatus, as that show had season 2 premiere 18 months after the season 1 finale.
Production onInterview with the Vampireseason 2 was paused for about 10 weeks amid the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, during which time actors were fighting for fair pay.
