When they finally did have a moment to relax,the Avengers once took refuge in Avengers Tower, with the team’s old palPhil Coulsonrecently getting his own super team,Infinity Watch, complete with a home base that would make the Avengers jealous.
Introduced as Stark Tower in 2005 but more often referred to as Avengers Tower once the team moved into its topmost floors inNew Avengers #3, this headquarters served as the Avengers’ main base before and after theCivil Warera of Marvel Comics and served as a replacement home for the team post-Avengers Mansion destruction.
But now, in the premiere issue ofThe Infinity Watch,Phil Coulson’s team ofInfinity Stone-enhanced heroeshave quite literally created a base out of thin air using the power of the Reality Stone, putting the stuffy skyscraper that is Avengers Tower to shame.

Seen in all of its glory on the first page of this issue, the Infinity Watch’s new home was conjured by Star, theReality Stone-powered member of Infinity Watch, with its beach resort-esque design devised by another Infinity Watch member, the Time Stone-wielding Overtime. Located “Somewhere in the vast Pacific Ocean, far from human habitation…”this infinitely cool superhero headquarters is essentially a vacation home in all but name, as not only is it built on an island, but it’s stocked with food and drink, has a helipad, rooftop dining room, patio area, and even a cool infinity logo table.

The Avengers Tower is one of the most iconic landmarks in the Marvel Universe, and Iron Man just gave it the biggest upgrade in history.
Being in the middle of nowhere rather than in the middle of one of the most populated cities in the world à laAvengers Tower’s New York City location, the Infinity Watch’s still unnamed base is easily accessible from anywhere at any time thanks to Quantum’s mastery over the Space Stone allowing the team to teleport. Only featured for a few pages and even then only establishing the base’s exterior and one room within it,Coulson’s team will no doubt be utilizing this hideout more often, with the potential for some Avengers Tower-level security systems and A.I. components likely.
The Infinity Watch’s Superhero Headquarters Was Created Using the Reality Stone
Furthermore, once the rest of Infinity Watch have the time to add their own unique elements to the base using their respective Infinity Stone powers,it won’t be long before the place becomes even more advanced than Avengers Tower, along with other iconic Avengers headquarters, like Avengers Mountain or Avengers Compound. Memorably brought to life on the big screen aftersimilarly rebranding Stark Towerin the MCU, this live-action version of Avengers Tower will likely have a hand in influencing theInfinity Watch’s new home as well, with theAvengersdue for an update to their superhero abode sometime soon.
