It is Clear That Aoki’s Plans for His One Piece Collection Were Perfectly Calculated
Aoki’s collection truly could not have come at a better time. With Oda’s announcement regardingthe series entering its final saga, it seems that creators across the world are fighting for a chance to be a part ofOne Piece’slegendary conclusion. What better way to hop on the hype-training thandesigning an entire collection (complete with accessories) inspired by everyone’s new favorite arc: the Egghead Arc, which has only just concluded in the manga series.
It’s truly incredible to see how farOne Piecehas come over the years. A recent statement fromDragon Ball’seditor has been circulating after he revealed his true thoughts about Oda’s series. Former manga magazine editor, Kazuhiko Torishima, stated thatOne Pieceis the only reasonShōnen Jump Magazineis still alive and well today, providing further confirmation of the impact of Oda’s masterpiece.

However, Torishima’s original feelings towards the series were much different, stating that there was“no way” One Piecewould become a popular manga. Obviously, this was far from the truth,and Oda’s series continues to make history, this time on the runway.
With creators contributing toOne Piece’sworld domination left and right, it is unsurprising that the franchise has made its way into the fashion world.
