WARNING: Contains Potential Spoilers for GOTHAM CITY SIRENS #4!Poison Ivyjust unleashed the full extent of her plant-controlling powers, revealing her ultimate, MASSIVE form. Given that she only recently regained these abilities, this transformation is all the more impressive. It’s clear that the Gotham City Siren is done holding back and ready to show her true power.
The fact that Ivy is inside the plant avatar and controlling it makes this form exceptionally similar to the Jaegers inPacific Rim.

To evade the Sirens, Punchline unleashes a horde of plant zombies, quickly overwhelming Harley, Ivy, and Dumb Bunny. As things take a turn for the worse, Harley suggests that Ivy"grow"the plant zombies. Though this move seems counterproductive at first,it leads to Ivy creating a giant plant form of herself made from the zombies.

Gotham City Sirens#4 Sees Ivy’s Recently Returned Plant Controlling Powers Go Full Throttle
Ivy’s giant plant avatar is towering, putting evenDC’s Giganta to shame. Besides its immense size, this form also mirrors Poison Ivy’s character design when DC chooses to depict her as more plant than human. In other words,Ivy’s avatar has green, vine-like skin and ‘hair’ made of thick bundles of thorny brambles.Additionally, various zombie limbs poke out of the avatar’s ‘skin,’ serving as a stark reminder of how this form was created. Thus, it’s important to note that the avatar fans see is something Ivy grew, rather than the Gotham City Siren herself.
Although the plant avatar is separate from Ivy, she maintains full control from within its head, peering through a circular yellow membrane to observe the events outside. Ivy uses the avatar to pluck Punchline’s helicopter out of the air like a leaf blowing past. Her ability to grow such a massive and powerful plant avatar is particularly impressive, consideringshe only recently regained her plant-controlling powersinG. Willow Wilson’sPoison Ivyrun. One might assume Ivy would need time to work up to such a powerful feat, yet she manages to create this formidable form with little effort.

Poison Ivy’s Ultimate Form Is Basically the DC Version ofPacific Rim’sMassive Mechas
Ivy Creates Her Version ofPacific Rim’sJaegers (& Yes, It’s Extremely Badass)
The fact that Ivy is inside the plant avatar and controlling it makes this form exceptionally similar to theJaegers inPacific Rim. Jaegers are giant humanoid mechas used to fight massive alien monsters called Kaiju. These mechas typically require two or more pilots, as the mental strain of controlling such a large machine often leads to neural overload. Therefore, whilePoison Ivy’splant avatar closely resembles Jaegers in both build and function, her feat is even more impressive because she can pilot it on her own.
Poison Ivy
Inducted into Batman’s rogues gallery in the 1960s, Poison Ivy is a metahuman who terrorizes Gotham with her poisonous touch and control over plant life. A misanthropic eco-terrorist, Poison Ivy is also depicted as an anti-hero, using her powers in attempts to regrow the environment in the wake of pollution and deforestation. Together with her lover Harley Quinn, the two are always ready to wreak havoc in Gotham.
