Dynamax Scorbunny makes its return to Max Battles inPokémon GOas part of Max Mondays. The Fire-type Galar starter is a popular option for trainers and is one you should try to capture in its Dynamax form if you haven’t already. After the initial launch of Dynamax Pokémon inPokémon GOlast year, Scorbunny was one of thefirst Dynamax sets debuting in October, but Max Mondays provides the latest chance to catch it.
Scorbunny will appear inPokémon GO’s March’s Max Monday Schedule, where one Dynamax Pokémon is featured for an hour each Monday, giving you additional chances of catching it. Scorbunny will appear in allPower Spots on Monday 31 March between 6pm and 7pm local time.This provides another opportunity to catch it if you missed it in the regular schedule this month, between March 17 and March 24. Once you defeat it, you will have the chance to capture it, but to do so you need to know its weaknesses and the best Pokémon to counter Scorbunny.

As a starter Pokémon,Scorbunny is a pure Fire-type.This is also the case for its two evolution stages, Raboot and Cinderace. This means it isweak against Ground-, Water-, and Rock- type attacksinPokémon GO. In Max Battles, it’s especially important to select Pokémon with these types as enemies have more health and will take longer to defeat if you are not using the right counters.
Unlike in normal raids, the moves that you may use in Max Battles are limited. This only includes one standard attacking move, which is determined by the main typing of the Pokémon that is attacking.
On the flip side, Scorbunny resists six different types of attacks, which should all be avoided when trying to defeat it in a Max Battle. It takes 37.5%less damage from attacks that are Bug-, Fairy-, Fire-, Grass-, Ice- and Steel- types.Despite being available in all Power Spots during the Max Monday hour, you still need to make sure you have enough Max Particles to be able to participate in the battle.

It is vital to select Ground-, Water- or Rock- type Pokémon; the best options currently available areDynamax Excadril, Dynamax Inteleon, Gigantamax Kingler, or Gigantamax Blastoise.If you don’t have Kingler or Blastoise in Gigantamax form, do not worry: their standard Dynamax forms will also work fine.

If you want to evolve Scorbunny, you can use candies that you have saved up for the regular version to help get it to its final stage Cinderace inPokémon GO.
