Taking Down Cliff’s Team
As usual, rocket Leader Cliff’s line-up for September 2024 includes three different Shadow Pokémon that increase in stat.To make the biggest impact against his team, we recommend using Steel-type Pokémon, likeMetagross inPokémon GO.This is because many of his Pokémon are Rock-type, which gives Metagross an advantage. Combined with a fast-charging Fast Move, Bullet Punch, Metagross can tear through Cliff’s shields within the first few seconds of the battle.
If you find yourself fighting Cliff’s Marowak, make sure to switch to a Grass- or Water-type Pokémon. This is because Metagross is weak to Marowak’s Ground-type moves.
