The Steeled Resolve event inPokémon GOis launching soon and ready to live up to its name ready to test the mettle of Trainers with challenges based around Pocket Monsters of the tough-as-nails Steel type. Along with brand new Pokémon making theirGOdebut, this event spanning multiple days will also follow the suit of other events by making more of a handful of particular spawns appear more often than others. The cherry on top is that along with the particular raid bosses available, there will also be more bonus rewards.
Steeled Resolve will also be coinciding with the Legendary Flight event, allowing players to battle and catch Dynamax versions of Legendary birds, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, through Max Battles. Corviknight & The Rest Of Its Evolution Chain
During the Steeled Resolve event,Corviknight, Corvisquire, and Rookidee will be making theirPokémon GOdebut. These three raven-based Pokémon were introduced in Generation VIII through theSword & Shieldmainline games. In other games, Corviknight is fairly bulky with a high Defense stat, so it’s easy to say it will be like a tanky when it enters GO with its pre-evolutions, far more than other recent additions likeDachsbun inPokémon GO. If you cannot find a Corviknight spawn on your local map, it looks like you can evolve one quite easily.

All of these Pokémon except for Carbink can be Shiny. So, if you are a keen Shiny hunter trying to expand their collection of alternatively colored Pocket Monsters, this is an ideal opportunity. Not every Pokémon can be Shiny, however, with the odds usually quite low. You should double-check the current list ofShiny odds inPokémon GObeforehand, but you should be able to find at least one with enough trial and error, persistence, and luck.
All Raids During Steeled Resolve Event
A Big Gen-Three Legendary
Steeled Resolve also follows the habit of otherPokémon GOevents by hosting featured raids, in this case including bosses likeDeoxys, both in its Attack and Defense Formes. A Five-Star boss featured in this month’s Raid schedule inPokémon GO, Deoxys will arrive alongside other bosses like Mega Gallade, Mega Medicham, Pancham, and Lickitung. Just like among the increased spawns for the event, all of the raid bosses during Steeled Resolve have a chance at being Shiny except for one, this time for Deoxys in both its forms. It will still take some trial and error to get different-colored alternatives likeShiny Dialga inPokémon GO. If you defeat a raid enough times, you can find one if you’re lucky enough.

Another Way To Farm Rookidee Candy
In exchange for taking part in the event, Steeled Resolve will offerPokémon GOplayers the chance to get special bonuses like theMagnetic Lure, which attracts alternative Pokémon. Compared to when it’s normally used, Magnetic Lures can be used at PokeStops to attract an alternative range of Pokémon like Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee. The latter is very important to take note of since getting more Rookidee in this way will be excellent for farming enough Candy to get a Corviknight during a Lure Module’s lengthy 30-minute runtime.
Details around Steeled Resolve’s Field Research tasks won’t be available until the event starts, but you can at least get rewards like oké Balls, Revives, Super Potions, and extra encounters with event Pokémon.
