Pokémonfans have been at a loss as to how best to watch the anime following the shutdown of Pokémon TV earlier this year, but finally, the series has found a new home on PlutoTV. The Pokémon FAST Channel is going live on the free PlutoTV app beginning June 11, 2025.
The newPokémonchannel will feature select episodes from 22 of the series' 25 seasons, including the originalIndigo League,Adventures in the Orange Islands,Johto Journeys,Johto League Champions, andMaster Quest.Since the shutdown of Pokémon TV, many of these seasons haven’t been available for streaming legally anywhere, making it exceptionally difficult for fans of the series to revisit their favorite episodes. The Pokémon Company previously offered a complex chart of where to find certain seasons of the anime, but PlutoTV’s new channel will radically simplify viewing the classic series.

Pokémon’s Adventures of Ash and Pikachu Return on PlutoTV
Ash and Pikachu’s Journey Never Has to End
While it’s not yet clear if the episodes will be available on-demand or only through the channel, either way, the show has become far more available than it previously was. With thePokémonanime having moved on to a new era withPokémon Horizons, the original series featuring Ash and Pikachu has become far more difficult to watch. The absolutely massive amount of content that must be licensed in order to have the whole series has seemingly been a sticking point for other streaming services, but Pluto has managed to navigate that problem in order to bring almost everything to one place.
Pokémon Already Confirms Ash’s Big Comeback, But There’s 1 Catch
An interview with the anime’s director suggests that fans haven’t seen the last of Ash and Pikachu, which has some major implications for the reboot.
Episodes on PlutoTV’s Pokémon channel will air in their original form, including elements like the Pokérap, making it a very nostalgic viewing experience for long-time fans. The selection of episodes really gives the feeling of watching a block ofPokémonepisodes back in the day, and that’s sure to continue as the series moves along towards later episodes and story arcs. For those looking for a walk down memory lane, the new channel is just about everything one could ask for.

Fondness for Ash and his era of thePokémonanime has been high since the original series came to an end, but the shutdown of Pokémon TV made it difficult for fans to indulge in the classic. This is the perfect opportunity for fans to revisit Ash and Pikachu’s adventures, and hang out with classic characters like Misty, Brock, and Team Rocket. Since the channel runs 24/7, there’s always somePokémonfor fans to tune into, and as the channel runs on, it should reach later seasons likeDiamond and Pearl, which have been unavailable for quite some time.
