To unlock its full firepower, these pre-evolutions must first be placed on the bench.With the attack “Energized Blade,” you are able to deal 70 damage, dealing an extra 20 damage for each energy attached to the opponent’s Active Pokémon. Hitmonchan is another useful card in this deck. Despite seeming underwhelming,this card can create some serious problems for the opposition. With “Jab,” Hitmonchan does 30 damage for a singular Fighting Energy. However, this is increased to 50 damage with Lucario’s ability. This makes its attack cost-effective and quick to cause consistent damage.

To be successful with this deck, you must be patient. Stalling tactics can keep you in the game as both Gallade ex and Lucario take time to get on the board.Rocky Helmet can be used to create some passive damage. If the Pokémon the Rocky Helmet is attached to is in the Active Spot and is damaged by an attack from your opponent’s Pokémon, it does 20 damage to the Attacking Pokémon. This should be attached to Hitmonchan to stall for time to prepare the other heavy hitters.
Use Professor’s Research and Poké Ball to cycle through your deck quicker and draw important cards.
you may then use Lucario’s ability to boost the attacks of either Hitmonchan (if it’s survived in the Active Spot) or Gallade ex. With its impressive damage potential, Gallade ex can easily take down any Pokémon in the opponent’s Active Spot, especially with the added 20 damage per energy attached. This combination will help secure victory inPokémon TCG Pocket.
