More details, including a first-look trailer, have officially been revealed about the secondPredatormovie coming out this year. ThePredatorserieswas reinvigorated in 2022 with the Dan Trachtenberg-directedPrey. Since then, Trachtenberg was confirmed to be directing the next franchise film,Predator: Badlands. The news then came in October 2024 thata secondPredatormovie would also be released in 2025. That initial announcement confirmed that Trachtenberg also helmed this second film, but did not reveal any of its details.
Now,Huluhas officially revealed details about the second 2025Predatormovie in a new teaser trailer and announcement. The movie will be titledPredator: Killer of Killers, and will be an animated action-adventure film. According to a synopsis, this installment will be an “anthology story,” focusing on characters in three distinct settings. These settings include feudal Japan, the Viking era, and WW2, all of which are touched upon in the teaser trailer. The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause.
