Netflix’s new dark comedySirensreceives a release date and unveils first-look images. Based on the 2011 play “Elemeno Pea” by Molly Smith Metzler, the upcoming limited series is fronted by Julianne Moore (Mary & George), Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus), Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon), and Kevin Bacon (MaXXXine). Set over the Labor Day weekend, Devon (Fahy) arrives on a seemingly lavish island occupied by mansions and hydrangeas to reconnect with her younger sister Simone (Alcock) but soon begins to notice the eerie signs in Simone’s relationship with her new boss, Michaela Kell (Moore).
Netflixshares first-look images ofSirens, confirming the release date of the new show. The images offer a glimpse at Moore’s socialite as an animal activist, philanthropist, and wife of a billionaire, who lives a completely different life from Devon. She is seen talking to a gardener, who gestures to her to keep what has been discussed between them. Meanwhile, the images also showcase Simone’s work uniform.
