Sister Wivesseason 19 co-star Mykelti Brown was pregnant with twins, and her broken family made it hard to include them all in her birthing plan. 28-year-old Mykelti is the daughter of polygamist patriarchKody Brownand his third wife,Christine Brown. Kody had four wives in total, but Christine left Kody and the plural family in 2021. She has since remarried, but Mykelti is still close to her father and Kody’s other wives.
DuringSister Wivesseason 19, Mykelti and her husband, Tony Pardron, give birth to her twins.Mykelti met Tonyin 2015. He proposed on a hiking trail soon after, and they were married in December 2016. The couple already have a child together, and they were excited to welcome their twins. The only problem was that Mykelti wanted to invite Kody’s fourth wife, Kody Brown, butthere was tension between her mother and Robyn.

Over the last few years, three of Kody’s wives have left their polygamist union, andhe hasn’t had any contact with most of them sincethe break-ups. They’ve all been to several family functions together and have managed to ignore each other completely. InSister Wivesseason 19, many of the Browns attended Mykelti’s casino-themed baby shower and awkwardly pretended not to see each other; they even attended a family wedding where they didn’t speak. It’s sad to see what has become of the once-loving family.

Whilemany of Kody’s other childrenwere less than welcoming to Robyn, Mykelti bonded with Kody’s fourth wife and even lived with them for a while. During aSister Wivesseason 19 interview, Mykelti explained that she was a teenager when Robyn joined the family, andRobyn made her feel special and seenat a time when she needed it. Christine and Kody’s former second wife, Janelle Brown, have both been clear that they want their children to have good relationships with their father, which, for Mykelti, includes Robyn.

Mykelti’s C-section was scheduled, and everyone showed up on the day of the procedure. When the nurses took Mykelti in to prepare for surgery,her heart rate started to spike, and she began to panic, but once her husband was allowed to be in the surgery room, she calmed down. During the surgery, Christine and Robyn sat in the waiting room together and avoided speaking to each other.
Everything was fine, and Mykelti gave birth to two beautiful babies, Archer and Ace Padron.
Thankfully, Mykelti and Tony took home two healthy babies, but the experience would have been better if more members of theSister Wivesfamily were on better terms. There was some hope that the birth would bring Christine and Robyn together, but that didn’t happen, andChristine and Robyn may never be friendly.
