Since Carrot Seeds can’t be purchased inStardew Valley, selling mature carrots is pure profit. However, carrots have other uses, too. Carrots may appear as an option in the remixed Spring Crops Bundle in the Community Center. They can also be gifted to most villagers, minus Abigail, Haley, Jas, Sam, and Vincent. Plus, they make a nice snack—restoring 75 energy and 33 health. Carrots can be used in tailoring and can now even be used tofeed your horse.

Unmilled rice only restores three energy and one health, so it’s not the best snack to keep on hand. It’s also not a well-liked gift for any of the villagers, nor is it used in any bundles at the Community Center. Still, unmilled rice does have a few good uses.
One of the best uses for unmilled riceis to put it in a Mill and turn it into Rice. This process takes a day. The rice can then be sold for 100g, consumed for more energy and health, or used in other recipes. Unmilled rice can also be used for tailoring and random quests at the Help Wanted board outside Pierre’s General Store.

Green beans grow on a trellis, which means you won’t be able to walk through the tiles where they are planted. Plan accordingly.
Green beans mature from the bean starter,which can be purchased from Pierre’s General Store. Though it takes them 10 days to reach maturity, the ongoing supply afterward makes it well worth it. To make the most of this crop, it’s recommended to begin planting on the first day of spring.

I love decorating my farm in Stardew Valley, but I’ve noticed recently that a lot of other players will start prettying theirs up way before I tend to bother. I usually start decorating later in my save file, especially when I’ve built up a significant amount of gold, and I can afford to put in the dedicated hours. Although I see the appeal in decorating earlier on, I often find myself wasting resources on paths and fences that would be more useful elsewhere.
The downside here is that it does take coffee beans 10 days to reach maturity, and they aren’t easily accessible asthey are only obtained through the Dust Sprite enemy in the mines and occasionally from the Traveling Cart.
Still, if you’re lucky enough to get the seeds, each plant will produce four beans at a time, with a slight chance of producing even more. Strawberries take eight days to maturebut then continue to yield fresh fruit every four days. Strawberries make a great gift, especially for Demetrius and Maru, and can be used in tailoring or in preserve jars and kegs. Of course, they can also be sold for 120g, but the profit isn’t the greatest when purchased for 100g at the Egg Festival.
The best course of action with strawberries is to turn them into artisan goods through preserve jars and kegs, which can turn the profits into 290g, 360g, and 925g, depending on what you produce with your strawberries.
