Skeleton Crew’screators have revealed some exciting new teases aboutStar Wars’newest planet that will soon be introduced. The upcomingStar Warsseries will see a group of adventure-seeking kids who find themselves lost in the galaxy after inadvertently leaving their homeworld behind. However, it seems there may be more than meets the eye to this seemingly boring planet with hints that it’s only dull “from a certain point of view.”
Speaking to Joe Deckelmeier in an exclusive interview withScreen Rant,Skeleton Crew’screators Jon Watts and Chris Ford gave some small hints about At Attin, the new world thatSkeleton Crew’sNeel, KB, Wim, and Fern all call home. With this new planet being referenced as having once been"the crown jewel of the Old Republic", both Watt and Ford teased what viewers can expect from this seemingly innocuous planet:

Chris Ford:
That’s what’s fun about it. The kids grow up there. It’s peaceful, it’s nice, and they don’t like that because they’re bored. But if you’re in Tatooine, or you’re in the middle of a battle, you would love to go to this planet. So, it’s about that difference in perspective.
We know that’s a theme of Star Wars: if you look at things from a certain point of view, what’s the actual value there?

Jon Watts:
There’s definitely more to the planet than meets the eye, but we don’t want to say too much.
There are going to be some interesting new details about At Attin that will be revealed onceSkeleton Crewbegins streaming on Disney+. Likewise, it’s exciting to think about its history and what secrets it may hold, especially with the kids believing inSkeleton Crew’strailersthat nothing ever happens on their suburban-esque planet.

What Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’s Teasers Mean For The Franchise
How Was This New Planet Lost?
While At Attin appears to be relatively safe, it’s clear from these new comments and the show’s official synopsis that the real truth will eventually be revealed. After all, the trailers have already confirmed that the planet holds a buried ship with possible connections to the Jedi, one that whisks the kids off into space with no easy way to get back home once they become lost. To that end, it’s certainly implied that At Attin may be quite remote and hard to access compared to other planets in the knownStar Warsgalaxy.

Our Take On Skeleton Crew’s New Planet
At-Attin Is Going To Play A Bigger Role Than We Think
Considering the show’s inspiration fromThe Gooniesand the fact that pirate gangs look to be the main threat of this newStar Warsshow,it’s possible that At Attin may hold a legendary treasure these kids have now inadvertently created access to. While conjecture, it does look like it would fit the themes of the show, and certain trailer shots (such as a large treasure room) support the idea as well.
