Following development for Max,The Penguinwas recently confirmed to be moving directly to HBO. With this in mind,the premiere episode ofThe Penguin, “After Hours”,will air at 9PM ET on Thursday, September 19th on HBO, and will be available on Max simultaneously. Subsequent episodes are set to move to Sunday nights beginning on September 29th. Following this, each episode of the crime drama will air weekly until the end of the series. This move to HBO’s coveted Sunday night timeslot is auspicious for the program.
