SEPTEMBER 16 #462

If you want to make solving this puzzle a bit less prickly, use these four clues or scroll down for full spoilers.

5 Letter Words Wordle Hasn’t Used Yet (Updated Daily)

Wordle, the popular word-guessing game hosted by The New York Times, has over 1,700 words remaining as possible solutions.

Now if your prickly senses are not tingling just yet, the good news is we have more clues waiting for you just ahead. The first of which is the category names, which you’re able to use to try to put the puzzle together yourself.

The words

PRINCIPAL

SUPREME

If you are looking for a leader in something, these are the words you would use to describe it. There are plenty of cases where the leader is not the best in many situations, but these are the words to describe them in any case. However, the chief player of something likeCall of Dutywould also be the best, at least of those known to be playing.

MACE

PINEAPPLE

This category missed my cat’s claws as being one of the more spiky things on the planet, but other than thatthese words are pretty spiky. The HEDGEHOG is notably the cutest spiky thing on the list, and is something I strongly considered getting before I got my spiky cat. PINEAPPLE is usually a little too prickly even removed from the spiky outing for me, and it is definitely not as cute.

10 Best Connections Tips, Tricks, & Strategies

Four categories with four words each sounds simple, but the daily challenge of the Connections game can prove difficult without a few tips to help.

MUSH

PAP

For those who don’t know, there is a replica of an airplane in the shape of an ear of CORN in the Atlanta airport, and no one much liked it when I called it corny. It was quite aCHEESY pun, or perhaps a piece of MUSH.

That being said, the word PAP is very rarely used to mean anything like this anymore. What PAP is often used to refer to is about the furthest thing from a funny joke you could make. Still, it’s nice to know it could be used differently.

MUSHROOM

SALARY

A MUSHROOM cap can be quite cute, even if they have other uses, and I like to collect BOTTLEs. AGRADUATE cap is something that feels great to receive, so all these things make you feel pretty good. All of them except for the SALARY cap. That one is a lot less fun and not nearly as cute as a mushroom. It’s honestly quite depressing and a terrible note to end the puzzle on.
