Another Franchise Star Recently Shared A Conflicting Filming Update

In addition to Brewster expressing uncertainty regardingFast X: Part 2’s filming timeline, Roman actorTyrese Gibson revealed on theHappy, Sad, Confusedpodcastthis summer that he hadn’t yet read a script for the film and thathe expects filming to get underway in 2025. Fast & Furious 11 Must Break The Franchise’s Oldest Trend After Fast X’s Problems

Fast and Furious movies have been struggling under the pressure of increasing their budgets, but the final movie needs to make some changes.

TheFast Xcastwas massive, and getting all of these actors together is sure to be challenging. It’s possible that 2025 will be the year that Gibson and other franchise regulars start their filming, butDiesel, due to his busy schedule, could be getting some solo Dom filming done before the holidays. This timeline would fit with theFast Xending, too, as that film’s final moments suggest that Dom and his son, Brian, will be on their own for parts of the next installment. It’s not yet clear, however, who is driving the blue car beside Dom’s Chevy.

Our Take On Fast X: Part 2’s New Filming Reveal

More Updates Could Arrive In The Near Future

From the photo, it doesn’t appear that Diesel is filming a particularly involved vehicular action sequence. The franchise has traditionally had plenty of shots of actors driving cars under tame circumstances as they arrive in new locations, and it makes sense that, if the script isn’t yet done or if actors' schedules are preventing bigger sequences from being filmed, the production starts with some of these more straightforward scenes that are easier to shoot.

Though theFast X: Part 2filming situation remains somewhat unclear, it’s certainly exciting to see Dom back in his Chevy Chevelle. Diesel continues to be a strong source of information regarding theFast & Furiousfranchise, and it’s entirely possible that he will be sharing more filming updates and behind-the-scenes photos in the weeks to come.
