Steve Buscemi in Big Fish holding a bag

I can say that I loved working with Jenna. I had worked with her earlier in the year onKlara and the Sunin New Zealand so I got to know her a little bit before then working with her on Wednesday. It was a really fun set. We shot it in Dublin. It doesn’t take place in Ireland, but that’s where we were shooting for months and months. It was a wonderful place to live and work. I also got to work with Tim Burton again. It had been over 20 years since we didBig Fishtogether. I’m such a huge fan of his and the way he works, his energy, the way he sees the world. I also got to work with the rest of the cast, too, because I have some scenes with all of the Addams family and my character. I’ve been a big fan ofThe Addams Familysince I was a kid so it was surreal and very exciting. It was a really, really fun experience.

Also, his confirmation that he shares scenes with the entire Addams Family indicates that his character could carry narrative weight. In season 1, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Gomez (Luiz Guzmán), and Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) played limited roles, while Wednesday remained the central focus. Buscemi’s interactions with all of them suggest a shift in storytelling, potentially giving the family a more active presence in season 2. Whether he is an ally, adversary, or something in between, his role is likely integral to the season’s overarching plot. However, with no set release date in 2025, time will tell what Buscemi’s role entails inWednesday.
