What Happened To Dennis De Guzman After The Karate Kid Part III?
Dennis' Partner-In-Crime Died Sometime After The Movie
As for what became of Dennis afterThe Karate Kid Part III,Cobra Kaiwas sparse on those details. However, certain context offers some clues. His Cobra Kai tattoo, for instance, indicates that he became more than just a thug-for-hire. It seems he developed some degree of loyalty to the Cobra Kai name at some point in the past. This idea is corroborated by how he follows around Silver like a bodyguard in season 6. Based on this, it’s safe to say that regardless of what Dennis went through, his station hasn’t changed that much; he’s still a subordinate to Terry Silver.
Cobra Kai’s Chad McQueen Tribute Explained
Chad McQueen, Butch in The Karate Kid, gets a tribute at the end of Cobra Kai season 6, episode 6, with the touching words, “Cobra Kai never dies.”
It is known, though, that Dennis is no longer allied with his partner-in-crime, Snake. Exactly what befell him was left ambiguous inCobra Kai, but it was confirmed by Terry SIlver’s lawyer that Snake died at some point inThe Karate Kidtimeline. Since his death was used as a warning to keep Terry Silver from descending down the wrong path, it can be assumed that Snake’s criminal activities is what became his undoing. Whatever impact this may have had on Dennis, it clearly hasn’t swayed him from doing the bidding of Silver and putting himself in harm’s way.
