It’s possible that Sulkin and Henrie have remained close since the original show concluded and that the former was just in the area while filming was taking place. The lack of a Mason cameo would also make sense sinceAlex is expected to serve as only a guest star in the pilot episode of the sequel show, and isn’t a main character.
